Greetland Academy was one of the first primary convertor academies in Yorkshire. Becoming an independent organisation from 1st January 2011 it was extremely important to ensure that our financial systems were tight. Governors wished to appoint a company who had school experience, were a local company and who were willing to guide us through the changes from being an authority led school to a private company. Since conversion we have been more than happy with the quality of service from Simpson Wood. Danny McAllister has been our direct contact and has been at the end of the phone whenever help has been needed. We have already had our first internal audit, completed our annual pensions return and are in the process of completing our first year end accounts. As more and more schools are gaining academy status we have been more than happy to recommend to colleagues the services of Simpson Wood and are looking forward to a long and successful working relationship.
