While always highly professional, Simpson Wood achieves a very personal service, which I have very much appreciated. The company has continued to modernise without losing any of the ethos of its traditions.
Simpson Wood successfully continues to offer first-class services in all respects. Over the years I have used all the services provided, so I speak with some authority when I say that these have always been excellent.
The team is approachable and only ever a phone call away, which is so important. I know that Simpson Wood is working with us, as well as for us. I have no hesitation in recommending Simpson Wood to anyone who needs an accountancy service.
Mark became managing director in 2014 and continues a family link with the firm which stretches back to his father Keith who was a partner from 1970 - 1994.
Mark is a general practitioner dealing with audit and accounts, tax and all aspects affecting limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. Having trained with the firm after leaving university in 1992 he is well versed in serving Simpson Wood's clients and their needs. Outside of work his interests are mainly centred around spending time with his family, sport and his local church.
Mark an ex-cricketer, is now a single figure golfer, who continues to believe his best days on the golf course are still ahead of him. The Grand Depart of 2014 also acted as a catalyst for Mark to join the increasing ranks of middle aged men donning lycra and taking to the hills around Penistone to ride his bike.
