Tom is our Financial Planning Director, specialising in tax efficient wealth creation, multi-generational financial advice and retirement planning.
Tom joined Simpson Wood in 2017 shortly after completing University, where he studied Business Management. He quickly attained the Diploma in the regulated financial advice and began advising our clients in 2020.
Tom takes great pride in building long relationships with our clients and providing them with the best service possible, jargon free and straight talking. Tom has a passion for financial planning and he says the most rewarding part of his job is to be able to advise our clients, through careful planning, to hand in their notice and retire early – which, initially the majority of clients do not realise is possible.
Tom’s interests include hiking the Wainwrights of the Lake District with his Patterdale Terrier Vinnie, Amateur Boxing for Hebden Bridge Boxing Club and going on city breaks with his wife Demi at every opportunity.
