Making Tax digital is a key part of the government’s plans to make it easier for individuals and businesses to manage their tax affairs. The first stage of the government’s plan introduces Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTDfV). Under MTDfV businesses with taxable turnover above the VAT threshold will be required to use the Making Tax Digital service to keep digital records and use software to submit VAT returns from 1 April 2019.

Simpson Wood hosted a series of seminars on Wednesday 24 October for all businesses that are to be affected come 1 April 2019. We are planning on re-running these seminars for those who were unable to make 24 October. If you believe you could benefit from the seminars please contact us to register your interest for future dates.
